NCAE Organize 2020 Region 5 Summer Leadership Training for Educators in Durham, Granville, Franklin, and Vance Counties
This is an important moment for public education in our state. Not only was May 16th the largest educator job action in North Carolina history, but we are building on a tide of anger by voters who are tired of corporations getting tax cuts while our public schools are being defunded and devalued.
This fall, we have the potential to get more pro-teacher voices in the legislature and to build on the collective strength and energy we all saw on May 16th. That's why we're planning regional organizing trainings across the state -- so teachers are ready for the next stage of advocacy and action.
This leadership development training, hosted by NCAE's Organize 2020 Caucus, will be an opportunity to connect with other leaders in your region and to acquire the skills and resources to build a strong local team in your county.
Please join us for this training and invite your colleagues to join you!
** FOOD AND CHILDCARE WILL BE PROVIDED **
