Where?: Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre (RVAC) Gardens
When?: June 21st at 6:00pm
What?: Intro to Beekeeping will be taught by Ron Glave, the owner of BeeKind Honeybees in Revelstoke. Invasive species free pollinator friendly planting will be taught by an expert from the Columbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society (CSISS). Come learn from local experts in a collaborative setting with other passionate gardeners in our community!
How much?: The Garden Guru workshops are free for anyone who would like to participate, however there is a $10 suggested donation to help support the LFI and programs like this in the future.
In coordination with the community gardens, the LFI coordinates the Garden Guru Series from spring to fall; a series of workshops hosted by local experts on garden-related and food-gathering techniques. This series is open to the public and is well attended by a variety of Revelstoke residents. Every year brings new topics and presenters to learn from.
