Summer Sport Horse Breeding Seminar at Timbach Farm - Depauw, IN - June 7-9, 2019
Our goal is to promote regional meetings for KWPN enthusiasts and sport horse breeders from all warmblood registries. We are very excited about our confirmed slate of 2019 presenters:

Dirk Willem Rosie - Dirk is a KWPN expert and a leading equine journalist. Dirk worked for 13 years as editor at De Hoefslag before moving to the KWPN headquarters in 1994 where he was head of communications and editor-in-chief of the official KWPN magazine In de Strengen. In 2006 he founded his own newspaper, Het Sportpaard. Dirk is currently editor-in-chief of the Dutch equestrian newspaper, Paardenkrant, the Dutch website and founder of the website, a pedigree database that is available in four languages.

Emmy de Jeu - Emmy was 2013 KWPN Breeder of the Year and she is a well known KWPN dressage horse owner and consultant. Emmy and her late husband purchased the Grand Prix mare Sisther de Jeu (by Gribaldi) as a foal and Sisther became Dutch small tour champion as well as an A-team dressage horse under Edward Gal. Emmy travels the world to meet with warmblood breeders as a breeding expert and KWPN goodwill ambassador.

Wim Cazemier - Wim is a top Dutch Harness Horse breeder and trainer who relocated from Holland to northern Indiana in 2016. Wim and his wife Marjan train Dutch harness horses, warmbloods and Friesians at the Wim Cazemier Equine Center in Spencerville, Indiana. They also stand numerous Dutch stallions at their facility including Shooting Star Farm's SSF Gaudi (Totilas x DeNiro x Romancier), the only Totilas son available by fresh semen in the United States. Wim will present SSF Gaudi at the seminar and will also give a driving presentation with his Dutch Harness Horse stallion, Jaleet.

Scot Tolman - Scot and his family have been breeding Dutch horses for over 25 years at Shooting Star Farm in New Hampshire and they are one of only a few KWPN-NA Platinum Level breeders in North America. His foundation mare Orchis (Jazz/Roemer) was the highest indexed dressage producing mare outside of Holland. Scot has written articles for Warmbloods Today, KWPN-NA newsletters and has an active blog with his reflections on breedings and blood lines. He imported the stallions Zeoliet and Donatelli, and was instrumental with the group that imported the stallions Freestyle, Iroko, and Heirarch for American breeders. In 2018, Shooting Star Farm imported the Dutch stallion SSF Gaudi in keeping with Scot's goal of always trying to better the KWPN horse in North America. SSF Gaudi will be presented at the Summer Breeding Seminar along with six of his 2019 foals from a variety of Dutch warmblood mares.

Judy Yancey - Judy is one of North America’s most experienced warmblood breeders with more than 40 years in the business. Judy is a pre-eminent importer and distributor of frozen warmblood semen and she handles hundreds of doses every year from many of the world’s top warmblood stallions. She is a pioneer in the industry who began her journey with warmblood breeding in 1975.
