Keep Calm and Soldier On is being hosted by the Southland Multiple Birth Club in partnership with Multiples New Zealand. It is being held at  the Kelvin Hotel in Invercargill
Friday 30th September to Sunday 2nd of October 2016.

* Full weekend $300
(EARLYBIRD $280 - closes Friday 26th August 5pm)

* Kelvin Hotel Room $142:
- Rooms with 2  beds are available for people who wish to stay an extra night or to stay only for the night of the Gala dinner.

1: CYBER SAFETY
Hosted by New Zealand Cyber Safety expert John Parsons who will give you real life examples of children who have been affected by cybercrime.  You will leave with the knowledge to help, support and protect your family.

2: PLAYFUL INTERIORS
Planning to decorate but don't know where to start? Come and join Resene's fabulous workshop as they present their on trend tips and tricks for decorating; in particular kids spaces.  Leave feeling refreshed and inspired for ideas; from paint and wallpaper right through to special effects.  Be the envy of all your friends as you return home and show off your new skills.

3: LOVING LITERACY
Creating magic moments in literacy! Highly regarded author and Resource Teacher of Literacy, Helen Campbell, will explore innovative ways to build up children's love of books while increasing their word power and rich memories.

1: MANAGING THE TOUGH STUFF
Equip yourself with the skills and confidence you need to resolve conflict and negotiate difficult situations. Learn about yourself and gain tools to enable a better understanding of others and dealing with these difficult situations.
Multiples NZ Workshop presented by lawyer and mediator Debbie Bryan-Lamb of Invercargill

2: RECRUITING AND RETAINING VOLUNTEERS
We crave them, we need them and always need more!  Come along to learn more about volunteers and gain tools and strategies that will assist our clubs in the recruitment and retention of these valuable people.

3. THE TALK...SEX AND SEXUALITY
Calm your worried head about the 'Birds and the Bees Talk". With the expertise of Evelyn Mann from Public Health South learn how to talk with your children when the time is right.

1: MANAGING RELATIONSHIPS WORKSHOP
This session will be all about love.  It will explore the love languages, possibly something you have heard about before.  However, we will have a different spin on this well-known topic and instead of helping you to fill your own and your partner's love tanks we will help you to understand your children.  You will leave feeling as though you have an inside look at what makes your children tick!  Question and answer session included. Presented by Dr. Alexandra Hart.

2: CATCHING THE CALM
Behaviour management strategies to develop calm parents and households. Presented by experienced and highly regarded Primary Teacher and Resource Teacher of Learning and Behaviour, Lynne Bell.

3: CLUB PRESIDENT WORKSHOP
An opportunity for Club Presidents to join forces to conquer the world... or even your little corner of the world anyway!  Gain ways to more efficiently plan for the future therefore lead your club into a calmer tomorrow.
