2020 Columbia Spring Tournament Registration Form

Registration will close at 11:59 PM on March 2nd, 2020. Between now and when registration closes, you are free to register or drop teams from the tournament with NO penalty. After 11:59 PM on March 2nd, 2020, there is a fee of $35 per team you drop, and after 11:59 PM on March 4th, 2020, the team will be responsible for the entire entry fee.

How many teams are you registering for the National division of the Columbia Spring Tournament? *
You may register as many teams as you like for the National division, but until January 30th, only one of those teams will be entered into the tournament, and the rest will be placed on a wait list. If space is available on January 30th, those additional teams will be entered as well. The National division is intended for teams with experienced and competitive players. For more information, see the tournament announcement, which is linked to at the top of this form.
How many teams are you registering for the Standard division of the Columbia Spring Tournament? *
You may register as many teams as you like for the Standard division, but until January 30th, only one of those teams will be entered into the tournament, and the rest will be placed on a wait list. If space is available on January 30th, those additional teams will be entered as well. The Standard division is intended for JV teams, novice teams, and varsity teams without nationals experience or who feel this division is more appropriate for them. How many buzzers are you bringing? *
Each buzzer system will earn you a $5 discount on your total entry fee. If you registered for the Columbia Cup, please bring the same number of buzzers that you brought in the fall. Failure to do this will result in a $5 fee for each missing buzzer set.
How many staffers are you bringing? *
Each staffer will earn you a $10 discount on your total entry fee. If you registered for the Columbia Cup, please bring all staffers that you brought in the fall. Staffers may be asked to read or keep score; they may be free to watch games if we are fully staffed (you will still get the discount, even if your staffer is not needed).
Has your school attended a quiz bowl tournament at Columbia University before the 2018-2019 school year? *
If not, and if your school is located in New Jersey, New York, or Connecticut, you will be eligible for a New to Columbia discount.
Is your school located in NJ, NY, or CT? *
Does your school participate in Regional Quiz Bowl? *
Regional Quiz Bowl is a league for schools in Long Island, whose website is regionalquizbowl.org. Regional Quiz Bowl participants receive an additional $10/team discount at each tournament.
Would you like a W-9 emailed to you in addition to an invoice? *
