2025 Redfish New Family Interest Form
Thank you for your interest in Redfish Swimming!

Our swim team is for the exclusive enjoyment of the Avery Ranch Owners Association (AROA) residents and their grandchildren. This includes any home under the governance of the 
 but does not include: Pearson Ranch, Heritage Oaks, Northwoods, The Commons, the Aura apartments, or any of the Brushy Creek Community.  AROA renters are eligible to participate on the team, provided supporting residency documentation (utility bill or ID with address).
 
Please complete the following form ahead of the team tryout on March 30, 2025. All prospective new swimmer families should submit this form.  Please submit one form per swimmer.  

Redfish Swimming Requirements:
  • Resident of Avery Ranch or grandchild of an Avery Ranch resident
  • 18 years or younger on May 1, 2025
  • Demonstrate ability to swim 25 meters (1 length of the pool) without assistance
  • Demonstrate ability to follow directions of a coach
Tryout Exemptions:
  • Swimmers with previous competitive swim experience, which can be verified via an official source (i.e. MeetMobile or Swimptopia) may be exempt from tryouts.  Please send supporting documentation to  vicechair@averyranchredfish.com.
  • Swimmers who swam for Redfish prior to the 2024 season (but not in the 2024 season) are considered "new" swimmers, but exempt from tryouts.

If there are more eligible swimmers than slots in any age group, slots will be randomly awarded.  

All approved swim families will receive a registration link within 48 hours of tryouts.  Your swimmer will be invited to join the team provided they pass tryout (or are verified exempt) and there is available capacity.
