Hello and welcome to our Korean Language Exchange program, 어깨동무! 어깨동무 is a program that matches Korean native speakers with a student taking a Korean language class, who will be language exchange partners. The Center for Korean Studies is taking an initiative to connect you with a best-matching and available native Korean speaker who will be either a SBU student or a student in our sister university in Korea. Once you are paired, everything else including when to meet, where to meet, what to do, etc. is up to you and your partner. Be noted that the Center for Korean Studies does not intervene in your meetings. We hope that you and your partner meet regularly (at least once a week for an hour) to practice Korean language and discuss about the Korean culture and society either in person or online.

Please keep in mind that this program is first come first serve, so priority for matching will be given based on this criteria. The deadline for the application: September 10th 2021.
