Complete this form to submit your map to display at the Houston Area GIS Day on Wednesday, November 16th, 2023 at the University of Houston-Clear Lake.

All map authors MUST print out their own ARCH D map (24 x 36 inches or 609.6 x 914.4 millimeters) and bring it with them on event day. The Houston Area GIS Planning Committee will display your map on an easel for all attendees to view.

The map display schedule is as follows:
Wednesday, November 16th, 2023
  • High School Student Maps (fun or game-oriented maps) from 9:40am-1:00pm
  • GIS Professionals Maps (professional GIS maps) from 1:00pm-4:15pm

All map submissions must be in English and display topics relevant to Houston-Galveston region. The map you submit will be photographed and published on the Houston Area GIS Day website.

If submitting a professional map, the Houston Area GIS Planning Committee will evaluate your entry and award prizes to the top map(s) based on cartographic design and aesthetics.

All map authors MUST print out their own map and bring it with them on event day. The Houston Area GIS Planning Committee will display your map on an easel for all attendees to view. You will be notified of the specific map size(s) acceptable to print and bring on event day.
