Please fill out the application below by August 24, 2019. After applying, we will notify you if you are accepted into the class by September 2, 2019. We are giving preference to participants with a connection to the Roxbury, Dorchester, and Chinatown communities. Selected participants will attend four Saturday workshops at the Pao Arts Center and perform at an event at Dudley Cafe or the Pao Arts Center.
Language is deeply connected to who we are. We envision new worlds through language, and it is so much more powerful when we are able to do our work in the language we feel most connected to. We are committed to creating a multilingual space where everyone is able to communicate in the language they feel most comfortable. Interpretation will be provided between Chinese and English for all the workshops and all written materials will be bilingual. Please indicate your preferred languages in the application form.
