Free to play - Revisited

Obligatory wall of text.

tl;dr We don't keep any personal information and you are free to stop anytime you want.

In detail:

You are being invited to take part in a research study that aims to identify free to play customer segments and their approach to monetization and inherent game design.

Please read the following information carefully before deciding to take part. If there is anything that is not clear, or if you would like more information about, please contact the researcher for further clarifications

This a Research conducted by Kountardas George for his Dissertation and was ethically reviewed by the International Faculty of the University of Sheffield-City College Executive MBA Research Ethics Committee

This research is ‘Not funded’.

You have been invited to participate in the study because you are actually human(at least we hope so). We want a large range of gamers and non-gamers from all over the world and there are no wrong samples in our case.

You will answer a 10 minute multiple choice online questionnaire that mostly revolves around your gaming habits and your approach to free to play games.

You will never be asked to input your personal information so this questionnaire is fully anonymous.

It is up to you to decide whether or not to take part. If you do decide to take part you should just answer Accept after this wall of text. If you decide to take part you are still free to withdraw at any time without giving a reason and without detriment to yourself.

There will be no payments or remuneration offered for your participation in this study.

The outcomes of this dissertation will not be immediately published but there is a chance if this paper gets a distinction to publish part of our conclusions to a few scientific journals. For science.

For any enquiries you can contact gkountardas@city.academic.gr

If you find that you have remaining questions or concerns before, during, or after the questionnaire, please contact the Researcher. If you want to make a formal complaint about the conduct of the research you can contact the Ethics Coordinator for the Executive MBA,  Dr Alexandra Prodromidou, 3, Leontos Sofou Street, 546 26, Thessaloniki, Greece, email: aprodromidou@city.academic.gr.
