We are proud to be hosting Canada's 2016 MBA Games in January! The MBA Games is the largest gathering of MBA students in Canada where participants compete in a variety of academic, athletic, and spirit events, vying for the coveted Queen's Cup. This year's event will be held from Saturday, January 2 to Monday, January 4.

We are looking for highly enthusiastic and motivated volunteers to be a part of this exciting event! Please use the application below to be part of our team! General Guidelines:
1) Volunteers will be provided 3 nights of accommodation at a hotel in downtown Toronto (quad occupancy), transportation to/from Games venues during Games weekend (volunteers are responsible for travel to and from the hotel before and after the weekend), all meals/snacks (including the Awards Gala & Banquet on Monday night), access to our nightly socials, some cool competitor swag, and access to networking events with Games competitors! Please note, we are looking for committed volunteers for this event. In the event that you do not abide by the rules and your responsibilities as a volunteer, we have the right to immediately terminate you from your role and remove you from the above mentioned accommodation and access to events.
2) All volunteers must be available for the mandatory training session (dates: TBD)
3) All volunteers must be available to volunteer from the evening of January 1st 2016 to January 4th 2016
4) Volunteers cannot participate as a competitor on the Schulich MBA Games 2016 team
5) You must be able to attend mandatory facility tours and other required training sessions on the week leading up to the MBA Games event.
6) Volunteers must be 19 or older to take part of this opportunity

Types of roles available:
Academics (Case Competitions)
The Case Competition team will be working under four different categories: Marketing, Finance, Strategy and Entrepreneurship. As a volunteer, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth experience for the judges and participants. It will also provide you with a fantastic opportunity to network with sponsors, judges as well as other MBA students. Volunteer roles include, but are not limited to: Proctors, Greeters, Time Keepers, and etc.

Athletics:
The athletic events include four co-ed sports over two days; these athletic games include Volleyball, Basketball, Team Triathlon (indoor), and Dodgeball. As a volunteer in the athletics area, you will be playing a key role at a respective athletic event. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to get involved in a sport that you are really passionate about! Preferences will be given to individuals with experience/background in these sports. Volunteer roles include, but are not limited to: Time Keeper, Marshall, Referee, Score Keeper, etc.


Spirit Games:
Throughout the weekend, different teams will be judged on team spirit and score points will be distributed in spirit events. These events stimulate teamwork, community involvement, and team spirit from the beginning until the end. This is an exciting opportunity for you to ensure that everyone complies to the spirit game rules! Volunteer roles include, but are not limited to: Score Keeper, General Roles, etc.


General:
In order to make the event successful, we require numerous passionate volunteers who can assist us with various events during the event. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to network with numerous MBA students and get involved in one of the largest MBA gatherings. Volunteer roles include, registration, general event volunteers, etc.
