Terms and Conditions for Yoga Alliance Professionals
As a student of this training course, I consent to my contact details (name, email and phone number) being passed onto our partners, Yoga Alliance Professionals, so they can contact me directly and invite me to register as a Trainee and Teacher. I understand that I have the option of opting out of this registration process.
Students on paying their deposit will be sent the code of conduct to sign and return.
Suria Yoga Training reserve the right to change the dates and venue of the advertised weekends if required to re-organise in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Suria Yoga Training also reserve the right to change the structure of the syllabus in the event of unforeseen circumstances and where applicable.
Attendance
At least 90% attendance is expected on all trainings, however students must make all efforts to attend training 100%. Considerations and discretions may be given in unforeseen circumstances that may result in non-attendance. Please read the Terms and Conditions.
In the event of such circumstances where student will miss a day or a weekend, discussion and agreement must be undertaken by contacting and discussing with the Course Director. You will still qualify as long as all course work and the qualifying criteria are met.
If you miss a weekend (by prior discussion or otherwise) it is your responsibility to connect with other students to catch up or arrange a one-to-one with the tutor at £50 per hour.
If more than one day/weekend is missed you will have to repeat the missed weekend the following year or you can choose to have a one-to-one session at £50 per hour as long as all course work and qualifying criteria are met.

Information held
Enquiries from non customers – message, name and email address – received via Suria Yoga website, email or social media - will be kept and used to answer query and follow up and will not be shared with any other parties.
Mailing list – name and email address - populated by people registering on the website, email or social media platform or opting in on an enquiry form. People completing a health declaration are added to the mailing list so they can be kept in touch with class/training information, but all mailings have an opt out link – indefinitely.
Health and registration forms from students - name, contact details and health information – completed via our website or in class - used for class management, and held for at least seven years for insurance purposes.
Attendance registers – data collected in class - used for class management, and held for at least seven years for insurance purposes.
Notes on classes and sessions - data collected in class - used for class management, and held for at least seven years for insurance purposes.
Emails – sent from clients and non clients. Important messages are saved in our filing system, otherwise emails retained only for correspondence use by Suria Yoga and are not shared with any other parties.
Payment data, excluding card information which we do not receive at any time. Received via accounting and banking systems, and saved for at least seven years for accounting and tax obligations.
Website cookies set automatically by our software. We do not knowingly access these or pass to third parties.
Except where required by law, Suria Yoga do not share data with any parties or sell contact lists.
Information held by Suria Yoga Training may be accessed by staff working for Suria Yoga Training, and contractors working on Suria Yoga Training IT, and may be shared, on a need to basis, with other teachers at Suria Yoga Training, e.g. if you are attending their class/training, or they are covering a class/training.
