Connect CCWG with my church, school, community organization - for presentations, coordinated climate actions and events to promote sustainability and resilience awareness
Youth/Events/Presentations Action Team - Develop, present educational programs
Plastic/Waste Reduction (PWR) Team - Research and action plans for plastic reduction in Moore County
Solar Energy Team - research and interview solar providers to provide help in making solar decisions
Attend my local town council, county commissioners or school board meetings - report back on climate-related activities and decisions: trees, EVs, water, waste, etc. Keep us informed and we can act accordingly.
Research my favorite local and global topics for talking points, handouts, letter-writing, articles for the Dump: Golf sustainability, wood pellet industry, renewables, recycling, Inflation Reduction Act or other legislature…anything else on climate!
Write letters to lawmakers and editors about climate issues - templates available
Social media - manage website, Instagram and Facebook posts, keep us in view!
