Make Lansing Apartheid Free: Endorse the Ethical Investment Clause!

We are organizations, small businesses, and community members who call Lansing, MI our home. We urge the City of Lansing to help make our city apartheid free, and free from industries that are dangerous to human life and our environment.

We want a city that refuses to invest in:

  • Nation-states engaged in illegal occupation, annexation, and apartheid 
  • Weapons manufacturing and military technology systems 
  • Private prisons and detention centers 
  • Industries that harm human life and contribute to the destruction of our natural resources

We want a city that invests ethically and locally to uplift our communities!

We call on our local representatives to ensure that the City of Lansing has an ethical investment policy that achieves this, by adopting the Community Drafted Ethical Investment Clause endorsed by the organizations, businesses and individuals below.
