THANK YOU for taking a few moments to help us lift up the great sustainability work being done in our community!

Please complete this form to nominate an organization or individual living in the Greater Charlotte metro area (Mecklenburg and surrounding counties) who you believe deserves recognition for their efforts to improve the sustainability of their organization, or the larger community in which they operate.  

In mid-March we will announce the names of ALL NOMINEES and at the 2016 Sustain Charlotte Awards + Earth Day Celebration on April 21, we will announce the winners.  

The purpose of this event is to highlight the organizations and individuals in our community who are working towards sustainability and by their actions, inspire others to do the same. IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT WHO WINS!

Nominees will be recognized and awards will be presented to local organizations in the following eight categories:

  - Land Use
  - Sustainable Economy
  - Energy
  - Food
  - Waste Reduction
  - Equity + Empowerment
  - Transportation
  - Water

Nonprofits (including neighborhood organizations and schools), businesses, and government agencies are all welcome to apply.  In addition, one award will be presented to an individual in the following category:

  - Outstanding Sustainability Leader
