2019 Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program Training and Tax Preparation at CASA
CASA is a non-profit organization that offers free Income Tax Preparation service for low to moderate income taxpayers under the VITA program of the IRS. CASA's volunteers receive free tax preparation classes in exchange of 40 hours of community service as a tax preparer/volunteer, allowing you to practice the knowledge obtained at the training with taxpayers visiting CASA’s Vita site once you complete all certifications (tests). These workshops are usually held in English but CASA has a special Spanish training for its volunteers.

Please ensure you are available to participate in the classes and that you can volunteer a minimum of 40 hours during the tax season at CASA’s Vita site.
