We are excited to hear of your interest in participating in the Growing Local Leadership Program! The 2024-2025 GLL learning cohort includes an open nomination process: prospective applicants can nominate themselves or can be nominated by someone else. This learning cohort is a four-session experience (two in-person and two online) focused on building your leadership skills.

We ask you commit to all sessions:

Session 1 (in person): November 23, 2024 – Cohort Launch
Noon - 5 p.m. @ Shooting Star Casino| Building our community; Identifying your strengths

Session 2 (online): January 15, 2025 – Launching Your Community Leadership
6:30 – 8:30 p.m. | Leading and Following – Introduction to leading on boards and commissions; Committees that Work: building meetings that matter

Session 3 (online): February 19, 2025 – Community Readiness
6:30 – 8:30 p.m. | Who is in your community? Telling your leadership story; Agility and belonging

March (small group work) – Develop Your Leadership Story

Session 4 (in person): April 23, 2025 – Moving Forward with Visionary Leadership, Action and Celebration
5 - 8 p.m. @ Shooting Star Casino | Alumni, boards and commissions; Cohort member mixer; Sharing your leadership story/ graduation
