Event Waiver *
In consideration of you accepting this entry, I, the participant, intending to be legally bound and hereby waive or release any and all right and claims for damages or injuries that I may have against the Event Director, RunSignup.com, and all of their agents assisting with the event, sponsors and their representatives and employees for any and all injuries to me or my personal property. This release includes all injuries and/or damages suffered by me before, during or after the event. I recognize, intend and understand that this release is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, or assignees. I also authorize the use of photographs or videos that include my image for promotional, informational, or other reasons deemed to be in the best interest of the event.I certify as a material condition to my being permitted to enter this race that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that my physical condition has been verified by a licensed Medical Doctor. By submitting this entry, I acknowledge (or a parent or adult guardian for all children under 18 years) having read and agreed to the above waiver.I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running and/or walking in this event including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting this entry form, I, for myself, my heirs, and personal representative waive all rights and release Chemical Bank, all race sponsors, their agents, representatives, successors and assigns from any and all liability for injuries or damages suffered by me arising out of traveling to, participating in or returning from the run/walk. I grant permission to the Chemical Bank 5K Run/Walk to use any photographs, motion pictures or any record of this event for any purpose. Race organizers reserve the right to cancel the event in case of severe weather. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
