AEC Film Preservation Workshop 2017
Film Archive (Public Organization) in collaboration with the International Federal of Film Archives(FIAF) will organize the second edition of AEC Film Preservation Workshop from Monday 19 – Friday 23 June 2017 for the participants for AEC countries*. It will be taken place at Film Archive (Public Organization) in Salaya Thailand and It will be conducted in English.

The mentors in this edition will be David Walsh (Imperial War Museums), Reto Krammer (reto.ch) , Rachael Stoeltje (Indiana University Libraries Moving Image Archives) including the staffs of Film Archive. The workshop will cover both theory and practice.

There is no registration fee. Here is the application form via http://bit.ly/AECfilmpreservation2017 before 31 May 2017.

Film Archive will provide the accommodation for the selected participants during 18 – 24 June 2017. The lunch and break will be provided during the workshop. The dinner will be provided only in the welcoming and closing dinner.

Film Archive will sponsor the flight ticket for two distinguished candidates.

*AEC as known as ASEAN Economic Community is a uniting of 10 ASEAN countries, which are Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Cambodia, and Brunei.
