The Year of Renewal is an important element of the five-year School Improvement cycle where the school community conducts a comprehensive self-review to reflect upon its performance over the last cycle before discerning strategic priorities for the next five years.
Term One this year was a time where the school community - students, staff and parents - had an opportunity to review and reflect upon the effectiveness of the school in order to determine areas of commendation and areas for improvement, providing such feedback through a survey. School leadership, in conjunction with Education Consultants from Townsville Catholic Education, have examined the community's survey data and from that analysis, discerned strategic priorities to present back to the school community and an external Verification Team for consideration and critique.
Once the school community delivers feedback on the draft strategic priority goals, the school leadership team and Townsville Catholic Education will collaboratively develop a rigorous and relevant School Renewal Plan which will outline strategic directions for the school community across the following 4 years.
This form allows you as parents and caregivers to critique Saint Mary's four strategic priorities for school improvement discerned from an analysis of your data from last term.
