The European Project Responsible-Industry explores how private corporations can conduct their research and innovation activities responsibly through the use of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) methods, focussing on the application of information and communication technologies to the grand challenge of health, demographic change and well-being.

Investigation will be performed through practical cases and in depth dialogue with stakeholders. Different engagement initiatives are planned, including interviews, a two stage Delphi survey, workshops, bottom-up case studies and pilot research projects on RRI.

Stakeholders participating in Responsible Industry will contribute to the definition of an exemplar Implementation Plan of RRI in Industry as the final outcome of the project, that will provide support for future EU and Member States policies for research and innovation.
