Sign up to volunteer with the PTA! Maury depends on an extremely engaged and active volunteer base to meet the PTA’s mission to create an environment where students can strive for academic achievement and social-emotional growth. We are looking for several volunteers the 2024-2025 year. That includes positions on the executive committee, committee volunteers, and general volunteers

Community Events Co-Chair - Coordinates events and opportunities for Maury families to connect with each other.

Inclusion & Equity Co-Chair - Organizes communications among Affinity Group leaders and brings and equity lens to PTA efforts

Fundraising Co-Chair - Coordinates and implements events to raise funds for the PTA.

Fundraising - Holiday Fundraiser - Organize and execute the wreath and tree sales and other related sales.

Fundraising - Read-A-Thon Co-Chair - Organizes the annual school-wide reading fundraiser

Fundraising - Bake Sale Co-Chair - Helps organize and host ongoing bake sales.

Fundraising - Maury at the Market Volunteer

Fundraising - Yard Sale Volunteer

Operations Co-Chair - Manages PTA specific operations (uniform bank, communications, etc.)

Operations - Website Chair - Makes update to the Maury website throughout the year, a Wordpress site.

Operations - Communications Chair - Manages PTA communications school-wide ongoing

5th Grade Fundraising Chair - Acts as the main point of contact between the PTA exec team and the fifth grade.
