Suited for Success Program
The Engineering Career Resource Center recognizes the importance of wearing professional attire when interviewing. In an effort to help students with financial need present themselves professionally when interviewing, the Engineering Career Resource Center is proud to offer the Suited for Success Program. Suited for Success provides eligible University of Michigan engineering and computer science students with a clothing award of up to $200 to spend on an interview suit.

The ECRC would like to thank Air Products for being a financial contributor to the Suited for Success Program!

Eligibility:
•  Must be a current College of Engineering or declared computer science student
•  Must have applied for financial aid this year and have documented financial need as determined by the University of Michigan’s Office of Financial Aid
•  Must not have any ECRC policy violations (no job offer reneges, missed interviews, or late interview cancellations)
•  Must be actively searching for an internship, co-op, or full-time position

Award Procedures
Those who are selected to participate in the "Suited for Success" program must follow the following procedures:

1. The $200 award should be used towards the purchase of professional interview attire. This must include one suit. If the suit is less than $200, then remaining funds may be used to purchase other items (e.g. dress shirt, blouse, socks, shoes, ties) to complete the interview outfit.

2. Any unused portion of the $200 award will be forfeited, and so please spend the entire $200 on professional interview attire. If more than $200 is spent on interview attire, the awardee will still only be reimbursed for $200 of their purchases.

3. Awardees will be reimbursed for up to $200 after the purchases have been made. To be reimbursed, receipts must be submitted to the ECRC.

4. The award must be used and receipts submitted to the ECRC within one month of the awardee's selection to participate in the program.
