St. Pat's in Five Points Parade Application 

Incomplete applications will not be accepted

Spots are limited, and an application does not guarantee a spot in the St. Pat's in Five Points Parade. The deadline to submit applications is March 5th, 2026, or until spots are full. Spaces are filled on a first come first serve basis.  All information submitted on the parade application must be complete, accurate, and truthful. Any falsification, misrepresentation, or omission of required information may result in denial of participation, revocation of approval, or removal from the parade, at the sole discretion of the organizers. Parade officials reserve the right to verify submitted information at any time.

  • Participation Agreement: By submitting an application, participants agree to abide by all parade guidelines, rules, and instructions provided by event organizers. Failure to comply may result in removal from the parade or denial of future participation.
  • Liability Waiver: All participants acknowledge that they are voluntarily participating in the St. Pat's in Five Points Parade and do so at their own risk. The event organizers, sponsors, and associated entities will not be held liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred before, during, or after the event.
  • Insurance Requirement: All applicants are responsible for ensuring they have adequate insurance coverage, including personal and property liability, for their parade entry. By submitting this form you indemnify and hold harmless the event organizers, sponsors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from their participation in the event. Including but not limited to the Five Points Association and City of Columbia. 
  • Weather & Event Modifications: The St. Pat's in Five Points Parade will take place rain or shine. However, organizers reserve the right to modify, delay, or cancel the event in the case of extreme weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, with no obligation for refunds or reimbursements.
  • Image & Media Consent: By participating in the parade, applicants grant permission for event organizers and media partners to capture, distribute, and use photographs, video, and audio recordings for promotional purposes, without compensation or prior notification.
  • Animals – Horses, dogs or other animals must provide their own clean up staff. The Five Points Association, their committee members and/or volunteers will not clean up behind your animal(s). Please be respectful of the other units that may follow you and your animals.
  • Weapons - The Columbia Police Department prohibits all individuals from carrying a weapon/weapons during parades and marches which are held in the City limits of Columbia, South Carolina. This excludes period weapons which are to be used for a specific purpose, i.e., musket loaders, sabers and military weaponry.
