Mission Impossible is a summer program for PK to Gr. 3 students that keeps students reading through the summer. Reading has been tagged the single best literacy activity for children to ensure achievement. The program uses a bracket inspired by March Madness to challenge students to read 64 books (or have them read to them.) The bracket has four quadrants. Students have one week to read the books in the quadrant and judge the winning 'Best Book' in each. This program is for readers and not-yet readers alike. There is access to audio recordings of each book through Schoology. Students who complete this mission get to keep their favorite books for their personal at-home library!
