FOCUS Youth Student Registration
This is the form for individuals interested in registering to be a student at FOCUS Youth Tutoring. To register, you must review and agree to our policies, as listed below and also linked here. Further information can be found on our website, linked here.

  1. You must be willing to use Discord, creating an account if you do not have one currently. All tutoring will take place over Discord. Full instructions will be provided. 

  2. Understand that we can not guarantee a specific tutor for a student. Tutors will be assigned in a fair manner by the Human Resources department. If there are valid concerns, the student can be assigned to a different tutor. 

  3. Students may not receive tutoring from a tutor that has been employed by FOCUS Youth Tutoring for thirty days after leaving. 

  4. Students are expected to come to class prepared to improve their understanding of the subject, and students should have a respectful attitude towards tutors.

  5. Students must pay for each session a week in advance.

  6. If a student will not be attending a scheduled tutoring session for any reason, we require at least 24 hours notice for a full refund. If a 24 hours notice is not given, no refund will be given. 

  7. Late arrivals are counted as full sessions. Students will finish the remainder of the class, and there will be no refunds.

  8. Sessions will be recorded and the recordings will be available to both the student and the tutor. 

  9. Students are responsible for their own grades. 

  10. By agreeing to these policies, you waive the right to hold FOCUS Youth Tutoring responsible for any damages incurred to any student or caused by any student.

  11. FOCUS Youth has no responsibility to guarantee all free trial sessions requested by the students, however we guarantee to provide at least one free trial session.

  12. FOCUS Youth Tutoring reserves the right to explain all policies.

Note that only courses with a star next to its name (e.g. ICS3U*) are currently offered by high school students and university students. All listed courses are offered by high school students. All private lessons are $25 a session and all group sessions start at $20 a session minus 2 dollars per extra student down to a maximum of $12 a session.
