David is also a licensed local preacher and missionary of Grace Methodist Church in Singapore. He has served as the full-time Director of Children & Families Ministries, Executive Director of Scripture Union (SU) Singapore and Regional Children’s Ministry Co-ordinator of SU East & West Asia. He has a Master of Christian Studies (M.C.S.) degree from Regent College, Vancouver, Canada and is a certified trainer of teachers for Hope for Kids (previously known as Kids’ Evangelism Explosion) Cynthia, a former pre-school educator and church-based kindergarten principal of a total of 15 years, has a Bachelorof Theology (B.Th.) degree from Trinity Theological College, Singapore and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree inChildhood and Family Education from Edith Cowan University, Australia. She has undergone advanced training ininner healing and discipleship under Ellel Ministries Singapore. She has also been trained in Hope for Kids and is afacilitator of Parenting with Confidence Workshop for Parents of Pre-school and Primary School children (Focus onthe Family Singapore).
David and Cynthia have been married since Dec 1987 and have three children – Ivan (26+), Alyssa (24+) andDorlisa (19+).
