Engaging Israel Seminar
“Engaging Israel Seminar” – A new program sponsored by UChicago Hillel:

Applications are now being accepted for UChicago students interested in learning, listening and expressing their opinions about core issues related to Israel. Students accepted to this interactive 5-week seminar will be representative of the diversity of Israel experiences and opinions. The students will agree to speak honestly, listen openly and be respectful of others and their opinions.

Applications are due by Wednesday, Oct. 21 and acceptances will be sent out by Friday, Oct. 23. The seminar will run on Tuesday nights, from 6:00-7:30pm (including dinner) beginning October 27.

Topics covered will include:
The Land of Israel/The State of Israel
Israel: Special/Normal
Israel: Jewish/Democratic

The seminars will be facilitated by Mor Catran, Israel Fellow and Andrea Hoffman, Executive Director.
