Agree on following details:
1. Division of rights and responsibilities among organisations and volunteers
The hosting organisation (applicant) has the role of facilitating the implementation of the project by offering administrative and quality support to all project partners and enabling their networking. The Hosting organisation is also responsible of paying the pocket money monthly to the volunteer. The Hosting organisation has the right and responsibility to stay in contact with the partner organisations regularly.
The host organisation is responsible for provide adequate personal, linguistic and task-related support, including the identification of a mentor for the volunteer. The host organisation is also responsible of organising board and lodging during the project time.
The hosting organisation will organise group mentor meetings every week. Mentor is working in same place where volunteer is and they can have mentor meetings together whenever required. There are possibilities to have personal discussions with the mentor whenever needed.
The sending organisation is in charge of the preparation and support of the volunteer before, during and after the EVS activities. The sending organisation has the right and responsibility to stay in contact with the volunteer and partner organisations regularly.
The volunteer is entitled to get all the benefits as stated in the EVS programme: free board and lodging, pocket money, insurance and language training. The volunteer is also entitled to have a mentor and support person who will help her to settle into the project and working placement.
The volunteer has a responsibility towards the host organisation and should show willingness to adapt to her surroundings and to carry out agreed tasks. While the volunteer will be involved in interesting activities, some of the tasks could be routine but important to the running of the organisation. The volunteer is also responsible of following given safety instructions concerning work- and free time activities.
10 % of travel costs is to be covered by volunteer
The volunteer receives 120€ / month as pocket money. The pocket money will be paid in cash.

3. Description of the role and tasks of the volunteer, the practical arrangements and expected learning outcomes
The EVS- volunteer is working together with the regular staff and team of young Finnish volunteers.
First week of the project will be on-arrival training in Youth Centre Villa Elba. During the 3 working weeks the participants will have a chance to try out different kind of work: Fforest work, cleaning tasks, working in Villa Elba’s nature school etc. The volunteers will help the staff of Villa Elba with Christmas preparations and organizing happenings for families.
The volunteer must follow and respect all safety rules given by work leaders and staff of Villa Elba.
The volunteer will work 5 days a week, approximately 30 hours. The working hours are from 9-15 including lunch break. The volunteer will have 2 days holiday which will be kept in the last week of the project.
Volunteers will live in cottages in together with other volunteers in shared rooms.
During the project volunteers will learn not only new working methods, but also about the rules and expectations in working life and how to work together with different kind of people. Volunteers will learn about living in multicultural environment and also about daily living skills, as preparing food and taking care of their own living environment.
As the participants will work with children and young people, they must according to the Finnish legislation show their criminal record before arrival.
