Laissez les bons temps rouler! The 2022 Krewe of Katy Mardi Gras Ball was a huge success! Thanks to all of those who joined us. 2023 promises to be even better and we hope you will help us celebrate in grand style. Mark your calendars for February 11, 2023!

To be considered as a court member for the Coronation Ball you MUST have paid your dues by July 1, 2022.

Please use the Krewe of Katy Paypal Link in the email to make your payment of $185 per couple before the July 1, 2022 deadline OR make your check payable to the Krewe of Katy and US Mail it to Krewe of Katy 565 S. Mason Rd, #106, Katy, TX 77450. After July 1st, dues increase to $225 per couple. Your membership fee covers your entrance to the Krewe of Katy Crawfish Boil, Halloween Party, and Coronation Ball.

Crawfish Boil (April, 2022) Help needed with set up, clean up, side dish coordinator

Halloween Party (Oct. 2022) Help needed with set up, decorating, costume contest judging, clean up

Social Committee (Ongoing) Help needed planning events

Consider volunteering on a committee:

Decorating Committee-Interior: Help to make, set up, and take down decorations for the foyer, hall, and tables before and after the ball

Decorating Committee-Stage: Help with set up, decorating, and tearing down the stage including lighting, stage skirting, pipe and draping, and King and Queen chairs.

Pageantry-Costumes: Assist with bling, beading, and glitter for costumes and artwork as needed. Sewing is a plus, but not required.

Pageantry-Choreography: Help the choreography chair with the court performance planning and rehearsals.

Pageantry-Runway Helper : Two people needed to assist Royal Court members on and off of the runway stairs.

Pageantry-Spotlight: Attend rehearsal the day of the ball and man the spotlight as directed.

Pageantry-Court Police: Support Royal Court as they prepare for the ball. Must arrive by 5 pm the day of the ball.

Pageantry-Technical Sound Chair Coordinate with professional AV team to ensure all is sound equipment is ready for the show.

Pageantry-Floor Support: Coordinate videographer, spotlights, court police, court bar, town criers, runway helpers, photographer, historian and uplighting.

Pageantry-Bead Preparation Purchase beads, deliver to Safari, organize and provide to Runway Participants.
