Kids Science Dojo - Parent Survey!

Background about me: I am and always have been a science geek. I've wanted to be everything from a marine biologist to an Eqyptologist to a Physicist. I am currently in my last semester of my undergraduate degree at CU-Boulder in Physics and Astrophysics and I want to spread my knowledge. I have access to vast amounts of STEM teaching and learning materials as well as one of the largest physics education research groups in the nation http://www.colorado.edu/physics/EducationIssues/ . I will be working closely with the PISEC (Partnerships for Informal Science Education in the Community) group at CU. Which you can learn more about at their website http://www.colorado.edu/physics/PISEC/. If you would like to talk to me directly, my email addresses are ashleigh.lonis@colorado.edu and earthlingsquid@gmail.com.

Who is this class for? Any kid K-12 that wants to learn more about the stuff around us and their parents! As with the Kids Coder Dojo children under the age of 13 are required to have a parent present.

Goals: I want your kids to learn more about things that they are interested in, and by doing so, gain valuable problem solving skills that give a different take than they may receive in their formal education.

Class: We will meet for approximately 1 hour per week at a day and time that we, as a community, can agree upon (see question 1).
