Lab Parents' Association Volunteer Form (2026/2027)
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Lab with the Parents Association (PA). Volunteers are essential to help build community at Lab. There are a variety of ways to get involved. Please indicate which kind of volunteer opportunities you are interested in using the form below and we will be in touch throughout the year. 

We also invite you to join us for the annual Parents Association Volunteer Fair on Friday, September 11, from 8:10am - 9:30am in the Earl Shapiro Hall (5800 S. Stony Island Avenue) lobby to learn about and sign up for school-wide volunteer opportunities.  

Categories of Volunteer Support:
- PA all-school signature events: Book Swap, Holiday Fair and/or Rites of May
- ESH (N3 - Grade 2): help out with programming for our ESH students and families
- Lower School (Grade 3-5): help out with  programming for our LS students and families
- Middle School (Grades 6-8): help out with  programming for our MS students and families
- High School (Grades 9-12): help out with  programming for our HS students and families
- Class event support: help plan and support events to build community in your grade level (grades 6-12)
- New Lab family support: help welcome new families through mentorship and events
- Other: let us know if you have a special talent that you'd like to share or another idea of how you'd like to volunteer. Thank you!

We create new lists of volunteers annually so even if you've signed up in the past, we need you to sign up for this school year to indicate your continued interest.

Please note:
- A background check and training are required before any parent, guardian, and caretaker may volunteer for any Lab event.
- There will be a separate sign up for EC & LS Room Parents.
- Please reach out to affinity groups directly for volunteer opportunities.
