Fellowship Application Tips for NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP)

The annual NSF GRFP Call for Applications is now open with this year’s deadline beginning October 24th depending on your area of study. Due to changes in eligibility as of this year, graduate students can only apply once for this opportunity.  So be sure to attend our NSF GRFP workshop to be clear on the new rules and get tips for applying! Also, hear from a current graduate student who is a new successful awardee from last year’s application cycle!

Estimated Number of Awards: 2,000
Award Timeline: Three years of support during a five-year fellowship period
Stipend: $32,000 to the Fellow
Cost-of-education allowance: $12,000 to the graduate degree-granting institution for each Fellow
