This reflection tool is based on the Computer Science Teachers Association Standards for CS Teachers, and can be used to reflect on your proficiency with the CS concepts and related practices by grade span. We encourage you to revisit this tool from year to year as you reflect on your growth and teaching of CS concepts and practices. Each completed self-reflection form will be directly sent to the email address you provide below.
As you will see, there are seven brief sections to this tool; the first six sections request a reflection rating on your implementation of the CS Standards for students. The last section will request a reflection rating on your implementation of the CS Practices for students with an opportunity to describe examples of how they are implemented.
Anonymized, aggregated responses will be used by the CS4NorCal project evaluator to learn about teacher CS professional learning and growth and by workshop facilitators to help inform the content and practices they employ while teaching CS content to future cohorts of teachers.
