Here at BAD, we can’t produce our bouts without the continued commitment and enthusiasm of our Event Production Volunteers. From showing up early to lay down our sport court to sticking around after everyone else has gone home to clean it all up, BAD’s volunteers have been an integral part of making our bouts happen at all.

For 2014, we’re taking it to the next level, and we want your help! We’re now recruiting for the BAD Volunteer Army: BAD’s season-long volunteer program where you trade your hard labor for even more perks.

What we want from you:
 - Commit to work at every Home Team bout this season.
 - Make sure you are trained for the job you sign up for. If you want to serve drinks, make sure you are ABC or TIPS trained. If you want to lay down the floor, make sure you know how that’s done, too (we’ll train you on this one).

What you get from us:
 - Free admission plus two free drink tickets to every bout this season - including all double headers, the Golden Bowl, and home team Champs! Work 5 bouts, get the FREE admission to one day of the Golden Bowl (6/14 & 6/15)!
 - A custom T-shirt just for the Volunteer Army so that everyone knows how rad you are.
 - Priority shift scheduling - no more getting the leftovers just because you signed up late.
 - A 2014 wrap party at the end of the season so that we can properly thank you for all your hard work.

Possible Jobs (a non-exhaustive list):
 - Track Star: Do you enjoy heavy lifting? May you like the idea of not having to miss any of the action while you work your shift? Or do you just want that free beer to taste extra good after a hard day’s work? Then join our Track Stars and be one of the people in charge of getting our floor laid out and cleaned up.
 - Bartender: Are you more of a people person? Do you like to be everyone’s favorite person at the bout? Then come on over to the bar and start pouring drinks.
 - Talk Derby To Me Liaison: Do you really know your stuff when it comes to derby rules? Do you enjoy waxing philosophical about strategy? Perhaps you just enjoy spreading the derby love by helping our new fans understand what’s going on? Then put on a Talk Derby To Me t-shirt and answer fan questions about everyone’s favorite sport.
 - Box Office: Not really into getting there early or getting special training? Want to just show up, work a shift, and then watch some derby with a cold drink in your hand, all for free? We have plenty of shifts for you, too.

Yes! You can make up a missed shift at one of the Golden Bowl days
I can’t commit to the whole year. Can I still volunteer?
