On Rep. Canty's 2026 Art Contest - Entry Form
We're so glad you are interested in participating in Rep. Canty's Art Contest!  

Rep. Canty invites all students (Kindergarten - 8th Grade) who either reside in or attend a school in the 54th District to enter the 2026 Art Contest.  Artists will have a chance to have their artwork displayed in her District (D54) and Springfield Offices and featured on our social media.

This year's theme is "Kindness in Motion" - how kindness moves, grows, or makes a difference. Please see the contest rules below and complete your entry form prior to submitting your artwork.  Deadline for submission is 4:30pm, April 13, 2026.

ART CONTEST RULES
  1. One Entry per student
  2. Artists are encouraged to be creative in interpreting the theme "Kindness in Motion"
  3. Submission must be an original work of the student
  4. Submission must be on 8.5" x 11" paper
  5. Student may use any form of media (crayons, colored pencils, paint, markers, chalk, etc.)
  6. Student must print their name, grade and school on the back of their artwork.  Do not put any identifying information on the front of the artwork.
  7. Print a copy of your entry form and include that with your artwork when submitted to our office.
Drop off entries at the District 54 Office no later than 4:30pm, April 10, 2026
