Borough of Atlantic Highlands, Atlantic Highlands Police Department, and EZ Ride Learn 2 Ride and Bike Safe Skills Class Registration
EZ Ride's Bike & Pedestrian team and the Borough of Atlantic Highlands PD invite the community to participate in FREE Learn 2 Ride and Bike Safe Skills classes on Saturday May 31, 2025 at Mother Theresa Regional School, 55 South Ave, Atlantic Highlands, NJ 07716.

Head Instructor(s) are League of American Bicyclists certified.  If you want to attend, please register below and answer all questions. EZ Ride will provide a limited number of free bike helmets for youth who do not have one and who register. After you register, we will confirm your registration and email parents a waiver to print, sign, and bring to the event for kids under 18. The Learn 2 Ride class is limited to 10 students and Bike Safe Skills class is limited to 14 students -  registration is first come, first served. Parents of children who are accepted for the classes will be notified by email and must sign and bring a waiver with you. For questions about the bike classes, please email Mike Johnson at mjohnson@ezride.org.

●  All students must wear a helmet and bring a bike with fully inflated tires.*
●  EZ Ride will provide free children’s bike helmets for participants if needed - indicate on registration form.   
*THERE IS A LIMITED NUMBER OF HELMETS AVAILABLE
●  Bright reflective clothes are recommended & ALL students must wear sneakers and a helmet.
●  Bike Safe Skills class: Cyclists must be able to ride independently (no training wheels).
●  Learn 2 Ride class: Students must be able to place feet flat on ground while seated. Remove/leave training wheels home, remove pedals and bring them to class. Video: how to remove pedals.
●  Parents/guardians must request a space for each child and bring a signed waiver.
●  At least one parent or guardian must attend and participate with each child for Learn to Ride class.
●  If you must cancel, please email us to inform us in advance so another student can take your place.

We ask for your email address, age and/or phone number only for the purpose of contacting you regarding this event to send waivers and in case of weather or date/time changes. Thanks so much!
