Each year, Gift of Giving adopts between 450-500 children during the holiday season to provide them with coats, boots, snow pants, clothes, pants, shoes, food, and other basic needs. Each child receives 2 high need items that have been identified by their parents/guardians to ensure that the right basic needs are met.
Our program depends on our sponsor's generosity in order to provide the high need items for each child. Through the Adopt-A-Child/Children, you are able to make a difference!
How it works:
1. Identify the number of children you would like to adopt
2. Gift of Giving will provide you with a list with all the items per child. Each child is given a child's ID to keep the privacy of the family.
3. Gift of Giving will provide you with holiday bags, labelled with the child's ID, for the high need items and holiday gift.
4. The completed bags would need to be dropped off at Avondale Administration Building on Thursday, December 11th between 3-7PM.
