2026 WACAC Annual Conference "Room to Bloom" Session Proposal Form
Thank you for your interest in presenting at the 2026 WACAC Annual Conference in Pasadena, CA from May 20-22, 2026.

PLEASE NOTE: this proposal form also includes the option of submitting a Session Proposal for our SLC events in February (Virtual) and March (Northern and Southern California locations). 

Successful proposals will: 
  • Speak to major issues in the field and/or share best practices in college admission and college counseling
  • Ideally, presenters will represent the range of voices in the profession and speak to this year’s conference theme "Room to Bloom" 
  • Offer shared knowledge that can be easily implemented by other individuals or organizations
  • Include outcome and impact data
  • Include at least two presenters at time of submission
  • Can be successfully presented within the 60-minute time limit
***COMPLETED proposals are due no later than Friday, December 5th, 2025***

Please be as thorough as possible when completing the form. The lead presenter will be the person we contact regarding acceptance, scheduling, and other details, and it is their responsibility to share information with other members of the presentation team.
  • Selection notification will begin around mid to late January.
  • Presenters must confirm their participation within two weeks of receiving a selection notification email.
  • Presenters are responsible for all conference registration fees and travel costs.
