Lucas Meachem, who stars in the role of Sharpless at The Metropolitan Opera this spring, will host a free masterclass on:

To be considered for this opportunity, singers:
- must reside or study in the United States
- must be between the ages of 18 and 35
- must complete this Google application form
- must include a link to at least one YouTube video of their performance of an opera or operetta aria in any language that they feel represents them best, both vocally and artistically. (This recording should have been recorded within the last year)
- must agree to attend the master class at their own expense, if chosen
Please note:
- Six performers will be chosen for the masterclass (each receiving 20 minutes of time during the masterclass).
- One of these six singers will be selected by lottery at the time of the event.
- Two additional singers will be selected as alternates.
- There is no application fee; furthermore, the six performers will also receive a minimum cash prize of $100.
- An accompanist will be provided, but you may bring your own.
