1. This is a solo competition. Young Gita Ambassadors should be at least 5 years and maximum 18 years old.
2. All Young Gita Ambassadors must wear traditional Indian attire, put Bottu/Bindi. (this helps in your score)
3. Each participant must recite Sholkas from the Bhagavad Gita only.
4. Try to be clear, chant without mistakes and follow the Sholka sequence
5. Total presentation time for recitation, must not exceed 4 minutes for prelims and 5 mins in final round
6. Participants are encouraged to recite from memory. Cannot Read directly from a book/paper/phone/tab.
7. Clear pronunciation, proper intonation, and accurate recitation are essential and grab scoring on this
8. Please try to chant Sholkas from Chapter 15, if not you can pick which ever you are comfortable
9. Young Gita Ambassadors should be prepared for both rounds and slokas cannot be repeated.
10. Parents must ensure children arrive 15 minutes before their slot
11. Participants must maintain respectful silence during others’ performances
12. Photography is allowed during performance without making any disturbance/noise to the competition
13. Organizers may use event photos/videos for cultural promotion
14. Coordinator has to provide accurate information as requested in the registration form including the Participant's name, any false information may result in the cancellation of your registration.
15. Please register only once and avoid any duplicate entries. Also please register for only one competition occurring in this event. If you decide to register for Bhagwad Gita competition please do not register for Painting, Singing and Dance competitions.
16. Winners will be announced at the same event by the judges.
