Scheduled to launch in the Fall of 2024, this inaugural cohort will be introduced to a top-notch undergraduate business education and will have the opportunity to hone their leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. This is a three-year cohort program for rising 10th grade students at Crossland and Potomac High Schools who are enrolled in a PGCPS business program, or interested in entrepreneurship. Because this is the first year for this program, seats are limited to thirty (30) participants.
Students will participate in workshops over a three year period to strengthen their ability to articulate their understanding of business principles, learn the basics of running and managing a corporation, submit business proposals, and pitch their business ideas to mentors, faculty, and judges as part of a culminating business pitch competition during their Senior year.
NOTE: While GPA and overall attendance may factor into the acceptance process, there is no GPA requirement for participation in this institute. The only requirement is COMMITMENT!!!
