By signing this document your school agrees to take part in a Warriors Community Foundation Programme.

We sincerely appreciate your school's involvement with the programme and we would like to explain our responsibilities in terms of the Safety and Occupational Health regulations.

STUDENT AND TEACHER SAFETY

A teacher need to be present at all times during the curriculum time sessions.
Lunchtime sessions can be supervised by a learning / teaching assistant.
As visitors to your school, Warriors Community Foundation staff come under the Health and Safety rules your school already has in place.
In the unlikely event of a major earthquake, fire or other emergency which puts the pupils at risk, the class teacher has the responsibility to carry out the school's own safety procedures. It is partly for this reason that the class teacher is always required to accompany the children during sessions.
Warriors Community Foundation staff are required to follow the direction of the class teacher in accordance with the school's safety management plan.

CONFIRMATION OF SCHOOL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

I acknowledge that we have shown and explained to the Warriors Community Foundation staff our school's Health and Safety policy and procedures. In the event of an emergency while the Warriors Community Foundation is operating within the school grounds, its Community Coordinator is to follow the directions as a laid down by your school.
