We often hear how spirituality and social justice are polar opposites, yet one reading of the Gospels is that Jesus was deeply spiritual WHILE confronting the inequities and injustices of the system in which He was living. In fact, His Way of life directly contradicts and challenges the ways of the world (in His time and it ours). In our time together we will explore how Social Justice work is an exploration and embodiment of our spirituality and, instead of being mutually exclusive, are in fact intricately intertwined. I hope you will join us for this fruitful exploration.
