ACCE+ DLA Research Experience Placement (REPs) project proposal form 2025
We have received funding for up to four NERC Research Experience Placements (REPs) this summer, allocated through the ACCE+ DLA.  We invite project proposals to be submitted for this year’s scheme.

Please note that international students who are not currently in the UK, are not eligible to undertake a REPs placement.

The project submission deadline is Friday 23rd May 2025.

Provide a brief description of the proposed research project and how it fits within the NERC remit. Please include the following sections: 1. Introduction; 2. Objectives; 3. Summary of proposed experimental work and time line; 4. Research training for the student; 5. References

Duration of placement (number of weeks; min 6, max 10). Please note that all students undertaking REPs need to be made an employee of the host organisation (for example a casual worker) and therefore the length of the placement needs to be carefully considered. Please contact acce.dtp@liverpool.ac.uk if you are considering submitting a proposal for a placement longer than 8 weeks. *
