How do we see ourselves in the world? Where do these beliefs come from? How do we know if they are accurate? What if they are painful?
This workshop will be a space to think through body image, self esteem, and who we are in Jesus. You will hear one person’s journey of self-understanding, have opportunity to do some thinking about your own story, and see how stress, relationships, and Scripture can shift the story one tells.
Saturday, April 25 9:30am to 3:30pm at College Park Covenant Church
Ages 12 to 102! Lunch included
Facilitated by Dixie Vandersluys
Dixie Vandersluys, MA, CCC, is a professional counsellor, instructor, podcast host, mother, and Covenant pastor’s wife. She loves thinking about where our beliefs come from and sharing big ideas with humanity and humour.
