The Dick Burdick Award, named after legendary Thermon chairman and San Marcos businessman Dick Burdick, is awarded annually to a creative company in the Texas Innovation Corridor who creates innovative solutions to complex problems through unique methods, ideas, products, and processes.
Nominations are now open for the 8th annual award! Any business that is based or does significant operations in Hays or Caldwell County and has produced unique innovation is eligible for nomination. Special consideration will be given to companies that have had new innovations in the last calendar year.
The award will be presented at the Texas Innovation Corridor Innovation Summit, which takes place on Thursday, Sept. 8, at the JW Marriott in Austin.
Nominations are open until August 26.
