Apply your math, science and technology skills in this two-day workshop, while you design and build aquatic LEGO robots and solve design challenges. Sensors, motors, drive configurations, and programming in Lego Mindstorm is covered. Appropriate for students 8 years and older.

Bring a light lunch. Park in Lot A.

Workshop Fee: $25 before 4/15 or $30 at the door if spaces are available. Free for current Oakton students and employees. Space is limited. So, RSVP is required.

This curriculum is part of a National Science Foundation project (Award #0929674) by Dr. Yi Guo at the Stevens Institute of Technology to use autonomous robots to monitor oil spills in the ocean. Triton College serves as a Chicago area site to provide WaterBotics faculty curriculum training and summer camp.
