South Texas Vocational Technical Institute McAllen is proud to announce that up to fifteen $2,500 scholarships may be awarded annually to those who are interested in enrolling in the Automotive Service Technician, Diesel-Heavy Truck Technician, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, & Basic Refrigeration, and Combination Welding programs. Applicants must meet the program admissions requirements to qualify, complete a scholarship application and complete an essay of 150 words or more on why they are passionate about the skilled trades field. (see below).
