The evoLUtion Seminar is a first semester experience where a faculty and/or staff facilitator work with approximately 17-20 first-year students and an upper-class student leader. The content is focused on students' academic and personal transition to college, conversations on inclusion and diversity, and students personal and academic goals.
Facilitators will meet with their students individually and as a group at least three times over the course of the semester. All students and their facilitators will also complete the Lehigh University Ropes Course the weekend of September 11-14, 2014.
Training will be required of all selected evoLUtion Seminar facilitators. The selected facilitators will also be asked to read one of this year's Summer Reading Selections (Class Matters or Now You See It...Stories from Cokesville, PA) and a free copy will be provided.
Applicants will be notified of their status by early- May 2014.
Note: Supervisors must approve participation in the Seminar experience. Please be sure to discuss your participation with your supervisor before completing the interest form.
